ATTENTION: The Stony Island Arts Bank will be closed to the public from JANUARY through APRIL, 2018 as we undergo construction.

Rebuild Foundation welcomes the new year with a big project: the Stony Island Arts Bank enters its second phase of construction. While we are making improvements, our doors will be closed to the general public. Building tours will be on hiatus and requests for photo shoots will be deferred to late spring.

Rebuild will continue to offer its regularly scheduled programs of live music, DJs, film screenings, exhibitions and events including readings, talks and performances during this period. Our Friday through Sunday events will take place at the Dorchester Art + Housing Collaborative, the Currency Exchange Café, and BING on the Arts Block located at 305-307 East Garfield Boulevard near the historic CTA Green Line Garfield Station. These events are free and open to the public.

Check out our events calendar for more information.

Access to the collections on the second floor, including the Johnson Publishing Library, the Glass Lantern Slides, Frankie Knuckles and Edward J. Williams Collections is limited. Please contact us to request an appointment.
