Tasleem Jamila is an internationally renowned poet, vocalist and cultural producer. Her sound is a fusion of hip hop, spirituals, mystical chants, and lyrical soul. She is author of Black Baptist Muslim Mystic poetry book. We will share poetry, songs and lyrics as healing that speak to the current times, exploring healing and creativity with lyrics and word sound power in the age of Black Power and Racial Justice Movements.
