Directed by Andrew Dosunmu, a Nigerian photographer and filmmaker, Mother of George tells the story of Adenike and Ayodele, a Nigerian couple living in Brooklyn who manage a small restaurant. Together, they face fertility issues that defy cultural expectations which lead Adenike to make a shocking decision that will impact the fate of her family.
