Education Emancipation: A Benefit Concert

The I Project teams up with Bouchet Elementary, a predominantly Black, low-income, elementary school in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. The ‘Education Emancipation’ campaign aims to provide children in Chicago Public Schools elementary schools with equitable funding, so that they may receive the education they are entitled to.  Through a concert, Go Fund Me, and partnerships with select organizations/ corporations, we aim to raise $25,000 to fulfill Bouchet’s goal of a 1:1 student to Chromebook ratio. Additionally, the school has no non-tutoring after-school programs, and students are in need of school supplies/ uniforms. All money raised past the $25,000 initial goal, will be used for those efforts.
Performers for the concert include Ric Wilson, Daryn Alexus, Kopano, Christian JaLon, Ausar, and special guests! Tickets can be purchased at ($15/Students w/ ID, $25/adults)
